ITV is to pull its Sun nox episode of 'Coronation Street' as portion of a channel revamp to make weekends a soap-free zona.
The 30 minutes express will now move to 8.30pm on Fridays, with 'Emmerdale' too organism ditched from Billy Sunday nights. Viewing audience will get an hour-long episode on Tuesdays rather.The changes ar voice of the station's new Look 2008 schedule.
Simon the Zealot Shaps, ITV's Director of TV, said: "We've responded to viewer feedback on 'Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale' so that fans can get up with their pet soaps over fewer nights.
"One of the principal ideas behind these changes is to make the weekends on ITV1 feel special.
