Pink names new album 'Funhouse'

LaFace/Zomba press release due in October

NEW YORK -- Pink has christened her new album "Funhouse," and will release it Oct. 28 via LaFace/Zomba. First single "So What" is No. 40 this week on Billboard's Pop 100 Airplay chart and No. 59 on the overall Pop 100.

It is expected to make a big jump onto the Hot century next calendar week thanks to sales of its digital version, which became uncommitted yesterday. The "So What" video volition debut Friday (Aug. 22) on MTV's "FNMTV."

Album collaborators include Butch Walker, Max Martin, Billy Mann and EG White. "Funhouse" is the followup to 2006's "I'm Not Dead," which has sold 1.3 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
